Three Kings' Day wouldn't be the same without a great sweet treat on the table, which is why today I'm showing you how to make my spelt roscón filled with custard cream. It's a delicious version with no added sugar that keeps all the flavor of the traditional recipe and turns out wonderfully soft and tender.

To sweeten both the dough and the smooth pastry cream, I used homemade date syrup. You'll get a wholesome, homemade treat to enjoy with the family completely hassle-free.
