Ingredients

Ingredients you need for this recipe

  • 40gr textured soy
  • Country-style vegetable mix (zucchini, carrot, leek, red onion, and celery)
  • Garlic powder
  • Tamari sauce
  • The Gym Chef peri peri seasoning
  • Olive oil
  • Water

Step by step

Method

  1. 1Soak the textured soy in hot water to hydrate it.
  2. 2Add a splash of tamari sauce to the water so the soy absorbs flavor as it hydrates.
  3. 3Once hydrated (about 5min), drain the water thoroughly and transfer the soy to a skillet.
  4. 4Season with a few drops of oil (I use spray oil) and garlic powder to taste.
  5. 5Sauté well and add the chopped vegetables.
  6. 6Season to taste with the spices.
  7. 7Cook for two or three minutes over high heat to lightly cook the vegetables while keeping them crisp.
  8. 8All done! Our textured soy with crunchy vegetables is ready to enjoy.
