Ingredients

Here are the ingredients you need

  • 350g hake fillets
  • 1 courgette
  • 1 roasted red pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Pink Himalayan salt

Step by step

Method

  1. 1Wash the courgette, chop it into chunks, and place it in the food processor to mince finely.
  2. 2Once minced, wrap it in a clean tea towel and squeeze firmly to remove all excess moisture.
  3. 3Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  4. 4Now make sure the hake is clean, with all skin and bones removed.
  5. 5Add the fish, roasted pepper, and garlic cloves to the food processor and pulse until finely minced.
  6. 6Transfer everything into the bowl with the courgette and mix thoroughly until you get a smooth, cohesive paste.
  7. 7Assemble the skewers: roll portions of the mixture into balls, pressing firmly, then mould into elongated shapes and thread onto wooden skewers.
  8. 8Bake at 180ºC for 25 to 30 minutes with the grill setting on.
  9. 9All done! Our BAKED HAKE SKEWERS are ready to enjoy.
