Today we're making a light zucchini lasagna, an easy baked dish with tuna that we love because of how simple it is to put together. We alternate thin slices of zucchini with the filling and top it all with cheese for that irresistible golden finish. If you're looking for a fresh, lighter take on homemade lasagna, let's cook it together!

  2. 2Wash the zucchinis thoroughly and slice them into thin ribbons using a mandoline.
  3. 3Assemble the lasagna in an oven-safe baking dish by layering the ingredients.
  4. 4Spread a layer of crushed tomatoes on the bottom, then layer zucchini, tuna, zucchini, cheese, tuna, zucchini, and keep going until you use up the ingredients.
  5. 5Finish with a final layer of crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, and cheese on top.
  6. 6Bake for about 20-25min at 200ºC.
  7. 7And that's it! Our baked zucchini and tuna lasagna is ready.

Extra tips

  1. 1Slice the zucchini ribbons nice and thin so they cook through tenderly.
  2. 2Zucchini releases a lot of moisture as it bakes; don't forget to drain any excess liquid from the dish once it comes out of the oven before serving.
  3. 3You can season with pink Himalayan salt or garlic powder to give the lasagna an extra punch of flavor.
