I love making healthy dinners that aren't fussy, and this quinoa pizza has become one of my absolute favorites. It's a fantastic alternative to traditional pizza dough, super easy to make, and 100% gluten-free.

The crust turns out crispy and delicious, perfect for topping with fresh tomato, spinach, and a touch of cheese. Making this homemade quinoa pizza takes very little time, and everyone at home is going to love it.

Ingredients

Here are the ingredients you need

  • 300g quinoa
  • A drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
  • Pink salt
  • Oregano

Toppings

  • Cream cheese or spreadable cheese
  • Ripe tomato
  • Feta cheese
  • Fresh baby spinach

Step by step

Method

  1. 1Rinse the quinoa and cook it in plenty of water for 12min. Once cooked, stop the cooking process under cold running water and drain it very well.
  2. 2Add all the crust ingredients into your food processor and blend until you get a smooth paste (quinoa, olive oil, salt, and oregano).
  3. 3Preheat the oven to 200ºC and shape the pizza onto parchment paper using your hands and a rolling pin.
  4. 4Place it on the bottom of the oven and pre-bake until the underside turns golden and holds its shape, then carefully flip it over and bake the other side.
  5. 5Remove and add your toppings (spreadable cheese, sliced tomato, feta cheese, and spinach).
  6. 6Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and serve our Quinoa Pizza.

Extra

  1. 1Once you pull the crust out of the oven, you can add your toppings and pop it back in to bake if you prefer warm toppings.
