Ingredients

Here are the ingredients you need

  • 300g wholewheat flour
  • 150ml warm water
  • 5g fresh yeast
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Toppings

  • Healthy homemade Raf tomato sauce
  • White onion
  • Finely grated high-protein cheese
  • Pepperoni
  • Goat's cheese
  • Oregano

Step by step

Method

  1. 1I made the dough in a kitchen food processor on speed 3 for 6 minutes, but you can easily make it by hand following the recipe:
  2. 2Mix the flour with the fresh yeast.
  3. 3Add the rest of the dough ingredients.
  4. 4Knead until smooth and shape the dough into a ball.
  5. 5Place it in a bowl, cover with cling film, and let it rest in the turned-off oven for about 30 minutes.
  6. 6Once the time is up, knead again briefly and shape the pizza using your hands.
  7. 7Place it on a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray.
  8. 8Return it to the turned-off oven for another 30 minutes so the dough can rise slightly.
  9. 9Take it out of the oven and preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  10. 10Give the crust an initial blind bake for about 8-10 minutes, then take it out of the oven.
  11. 11Add the toppings: tomato sauce, grated cheese, very thin slices of onion, pepperoni, and goat's cheese.
  12. 12Bake for 10 minutes at 180ºC.
  13. 13Sprinkle with oregano and serve.
  14. 14Done! Now we can enjoy our family-sized wholewheat pepperoni pizza.
