Step by step

Method

  1. 1I made the dough in my food processor on speed 3 for 6 minutes, but you can easily make it by hand following these steps:
  2. 2Mix the flour with the crumbled fresh yeast.
  3. 3Add the rest of the dough ingredients.
  4. 4Knead until smooth and form the dough into a ball.
  5. 5Place it in a bowl, cover with cling film, and let it rest in the turned-off oven for about 30 minutes.
  6. 6Once rested, knead gently again and shape it into a pizza base using your hands.
  7. 7Place it onto a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray.
  8. 8Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  9. 9Give the base an initial bake for about 6-8 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  10. 10Add the toppings: tomato sauce, grated cheese, well-drained salmon, capers, halved baby mozzarella balls, and cherry tomatoes.
  11. 11Bake for 8-10 minutes at 180ºC.
  12. 12Sprinkle with dill and serve.
  13. 13Done! Time to enjoy our medium whole wheat pizza with salmon and capers.
